Our Riverside Retreat
We discovered Provence 12 years ago & fell in love with it at 1st sight & every year since have returned. We have made many friends in the area from all parts of the world who have discovered the wonderful Provençal lifestyle & for the past few years we have lived there for 2 or 3 months in the Spring at our Riverside Retreat. The electric privacy gate opens on to a tranquil & private garden on the banks of the River Sorgue. There is plenty of secure parking space & our newly refurbished luxury cabin has everything you need to escape the outside world including its own bouledrome for a game of petanque & a luxurious 56 jet spa next to the fig tree overlooking the river. We also have our riverside deck where we relax with a lazy lunch & a cold drink whilst watching the River Sorgue flow by on its way from its source in nearby Fontaine de Vaucluse to L’isle sur la Sorgue & beyond.

The cabin itself is ideal for couples who want to get away from their busy lives, whether relaxing by the river or soaking in the rejuvenating spa. On the ground floor there is a very comfortable lounge area with big screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen & a luxury bathroom with walk in shower. On the mezzanine floor there is a spacious bedroom & an office nook for those that need to keep in touch. All of the furniture & fittings are either new or antique with the whole property having just undergone a complete renovation inside & out including the garden.
